Take a Pole Dancing Class

Finished 5/10/17

Jeremy was kind enough to buy be a pole dancing class for Valentine's Day. Now if I didn't have a frozen shoulder it would have been way better. I actually waited for a while to take the class, but it was way more fun than I thought it was going to be. It was even better when I didn't look in the mirror and just imagined I looked like the instructor as I twirled around the pole. The first night there were more students than poles so we had to partner up. The gal I partnered with had been to several classes already but I could tell she wasn't all that confident. So I complimented her as often as possible and I even slapped her butt and said good job before I thought better of it. What am I? A football player? She didn't seem to mind and actually looked like she puffed up a bit.

One thing I learned was that twirling around a pole can be a bit dizzying. Talk about needing sea-bands. I did learn to "work the floor" to take a break and straighten out my woozy head. I laughed because the floor work mostly looked like sensual push ups and stretching exercises. So I guess these classes really are a "good workout." Not a lot of pole dancing classes close to Maple Valley, but I wouldn't mind taking another class sometime...for the exercise, of course.
